Joseph D. Benberry has a diverse professional background in healthcare, public service, and emergency management. Currently serving on the Paducah Planning Commission since January 2012, Joseph participates in various planning and development activities for the City of Paducah. Formerly an Associate Health Nurse at Bon Secours Mercy Health and Associate Chief Nurse in Medical/Surgery for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Joseph demonstrated a commitment to nursing excellence and patient care. As Disaster Recovery Manager for Over-The-Bridge Development, Joseph played a crucial role in recovery efforts following the 2013 tornado. Along with a significant military career as a Captain in the United States Air Force, experience includes roles as a Police Officer in Paducah and a Materials Planner at USEC Inc. Joseph holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing from Murray State University and a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
