Helen Petersburg possesses extensive administrative experience, currently serving as Administrative Secretary to the City Manager at the City of Painesville since February 2021. Prior to this role, Helen worked as Executive Assistant to the Mayor at the City of Kirtland from December 2014 to February 2021. Helen's career also includes a significant position as Executive Assistant at NAS Recruitment Communications from August 2000 to November 2014.

Settled in 1800, Painesville is the county seat of Lake County, Ohio and is located along the beautiful Grand River, roughly 30 miles northeast of Cleveland. Painesville is home to Lake Erie College, Morley Library and a dynamic historical downtown district. It is named after General Edward Paine who served in the Revolutionary War and settled in the area shortly after. Painesville has a population of over 19,000 per the 2010 census.
