Christopher Gerry

Christopher Gerry is a seasoned public administration professional with extensive experience in project management and city governance. Currently serving as a Project Manager in the Public Works Department for the City of Palm Desert since November 2018, Christopher previously held roles such as Senior Management Analyst in the City Manager's Office. Prior experience includes positions at the City of Bakersfield, where Christopher functioned as City Clerk and Assistant to the City Manager, along with roles as Senior Administrative Analyst. Experience at the City of Anaheim includes Workforce Development Supervisor and Project Manager, among others. Christopher's career began at the City of Fullerton as an Administrative Analyst. Christopher holds a PhD in Public Administration and Policy from Old Dominion University, an MPA from California State University, Long Beach, an MS in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of Louisville, and a BA in Urban Studies and Planning from California State University, Northridge.
