Eusebio Talamantez serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Panama City Beach Government since May 2021, bringing extensive experience from various roles within the Panama City Beach Police Department, including Cyber Threat Investigator, Police Sergeant, and Lieutenant. As an Intelligence Officer, Eusebio focuses on addressing cyber threats and conducting felony investigations. Eusebio's educational background includes studies at Columbia Southern University from 2012 to 2015 and training at the FBI National Academy, Session 277.

City of Panama City Beach Government

Panama City Beach is a home-rule city with a Council-City Manager form of government. The City Council is made up of five members -- a mayor and four council members; one council member is elected from each of the four wards but all are elected at-large. As of early 2020 the City of Panama City Beach employs about 350 people. The City pays health and vision insurance for employees and offers dental, life and other benefits. The City has a pension plan and provides generous PTO days and 14 paid holidays, including your birthday. The 2020 Census put the City's population at over 18,000 people. The white sandy beaches and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico attracted more than 4 million visitors in 2018, making the City a major tourist destination.
