Jared Jones, MBA, FRA-RP, serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Panama City, Florida, since May 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing department activities and guiding special projects to align with the City Manager's goals. Previously, Jared held the role of Interim City Manager, appointed by the City Commission, and managed the St. Andrews/Downtown Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) program. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Panama City Downtown Improvement Board, where significant debt reduction was achieved through effective financial management. Additionally, Jared has experience in marketing and management roles at WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, Knology, and Diver Locker, complemented by an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a degree in International Studies from the University of West Florida.
