Alexander Evans, P.E. has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Alexander currently serves as the City Engineer and Deputy Public Works Director for the City of Papillion. Prior to this role, they held the position of Deputy City Engineer at the same organization. Their previous experience includes working as a Senior Civil Engineer at Burns & McDonnell, where they specialized in water-related projects for government agencies and private clients. Alexander also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and as an Engineering Intern at both Pacific Gas and Electric Company and HWS Consulting Group. Additionally, they gained experience as an Engineering Inspector at Public Works and Utilities in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Alexander Evans, P.E. obtained both their M.S. and B.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they studied from 2005 to 2012. In 2013, they obtained the ENV SP certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. Later, in 2015, they obtained the Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification from the Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects.
