Brad S. has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Brad started their career at Valmont Industries as an Associate Engineer in December 2007. In May 2008, they moved on to URS as an Environmental Engineer, where they worked until September 2011. Brad then joined Omaha Public Power District as a Senior Environmental Specialist and worked there from September 2011 to March 2018. Currently, they are employed at the City of Papillion, starting as a Plans Examiner in April 2018 and currently serving as the Chief Building Official.

Brad S. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Metropolitan Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a certificate in Drafting and Design.

In terms of additional certifications, Brad S. obtained the Certified Fire Plan Examiner (CFPE) certification from the NFPA in December 2018. Brad also acquired the Fire Inspector I certification from NFPA in September 2018. Lastly, they obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Nebraska, although the specific date of acquisition is unknown.
