Valerie Johnson- Wilson

Valerie Johnson-Wilson is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner for the City of Pearland, Texas since January 2022. Prior to this role, Valerie held positions at the City of Houston, including Senior Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Generalist, where responsibilities included providing HR support during COVID-19, managing FMLA and leave cases, and conducting onboarding for new hires. Valerie also owned and managed VNicole Hairsolutions, where expertise in HR practices supported multiple retirement community salons in the Houston Metro Area. Earlier career experience includes roles at the City of Houston and Houston ISD, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, and HR consultation.
