Ruth Wells is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and community service. Currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Planning Commission for the City of Peekskill since January 2013, Ruth has contributed significantly to local governance. As the Manager of Fred's Pantry and a Board member for Caring for the Hungry and Homeless of Peekskill, Inc. since July 2005, Ruth has held various leadership roles, including Board Chair and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors from 2014 to 2019. Previously, Ruth worked as an Art Director at ABC Television's "One Life to Live" from July 1988 to November 2011. Ruth holds an MFA in Theater from Temple University and a BA in Theater, Religion, and Sociology from Oberlin College.
