Sophie L.

Sophie L. is a seasoned GIS Analyst II at the City of Penticton since June 2021, with extensive experience in geographic information systems. Prior to this role, Sophie L. worked as a GIS Specialist and Project Supervisor at the National Geomatics Center of China from August 2012 to October 2020, where responsibilities included national mapping support, GIS consultancy, and the development of GIS applications. Sophie's earlier experience also includes positions as a Geospatial Database Engineer and GIS Developer, where Sophie L. focused on database management systems and web service publication for geospatial applications. Sophie L. holds a Master of Engineering in Cartography and Geographic Information Engineering from China University of Geosciences and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Earth Information Science and Technology from Shijiazhuang University of Economics.
