Nate Emery is an experienced Information Technology professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Information Technology Specialist II for the City of Petaluma since September 2020, Nate has previously held key IT roles including Systems Administrator at Duckhorn Wine Company, where responsibilities included network and cloud support, and Network Engineer at Marin IT, focusing on virtualization and server support for various clients. As the sole proprietor of Emery Computing and Technical Services, Nate provided comprehensive IT and web design services to small businesses, while also gaining experience as an IT Support Specialist at BabyCenter, enhancing organizational efficiency. Earlier roles include a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Cruz and a creative position at SudoScape LLC, contributing to narrative development for a MMORPG, along with organizing educational tours at Stanford University. Nate holds a BA in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
