Patrick Carter has a robust background in urban management and environmental planning, serving as the Assistant to the City Manager and Senior Management Analyst for the City of Petaluma since November 2018. Prior to this role, Patrick held various positions at the Sonoma County Waste Management Agency from October 2006 to November 2018, including Executive Director, Department Analyst, and Waste Management Specialist. Earlier experience includes a consultancy position at RLW Analytics and work as an Energy Analyst at KEMA, Inc. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University and recently completed further education at Stanford University in July 2023.
