Elizabeth Diaz

Elizabeth Diaz, MPH, currently serves as the Director of Grants Management for the City of Pharr, TX, since October 2024. Previously, Elizabeth worked at DHR Health in various roles, including Director of Employee Education, where responsibilities included overseeing educational programs and managing grant-funded projects with a budget exceeding $3 million. Elizabeth has a background in academic advisement as an Upward Bound Advisor at Texas State Technical College and experience in event planning and team coordination as a Project Coordinator in the Education Department. Elizabeth's earlier positions include serving as a Banquet Supervisor at Europa Cuisine and Entertainment and as a Resident Assistant and Orientation Leader at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Elizabeth holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Health Disparities from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science in Health from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
