Vanessa Soto

Vanessa Soto is an experienced professional in event management and media production, currently serving as the Special Event Manager for the City of Pharr, TX since June 2022. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked as a Television News Producer and Spanish News Collaborator/Content Translator for KRGV-TV from November 2018 to June 2022. Earlier experience includes a position as Social Media Coordinator at ARISE (A Resource In Serving Equality) from July 2017 to August 2018 and an internship with the City of Hidalgo at the State Farm Arena from August 2017 to May 2018. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, obtained in 2018.
