John King

John King is an experienced educator and administrator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as the Community Schools Manager for the City of Philadelphia since February 2020, John has also held positions as an adjunct faculty member at Peirce College since June 2005, teaching various courses in the General Education department. Prior roles include History Teacher at Germantown Friends School, where John taught middle and upper school students, and positions at Temple University, El Centro D'estudiantes High School, Khepera Charter School, Horizon House, and the School District of Philadelphia, contributing to curriculum writing and various educational programs. John holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and Political Science from Temple University.
