Kate A. McGlinchey

Kate A. McGlinchey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public administration and economic development. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of Finance in the Office of the Director of Finance for the City of Philadelphia since March 2021, Kate has previously held roles including Chief of Staff in the Office of Property Assessment and Economic Development & Policy Manager at Old City District. Prior experience includes positions as City Relations Research Director at S.R. Wojdak & Associates and Mayoral Fellow in the City of Chicago. Kate's political experience also encompasses serving as Scheduling Director for Tom Wolf for Governor and Political Assistant at Shorr Johnson Magnus Political Media. An educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Temple University, complemented by study at the Foundation for International Education in London.
