Mark Washington

Mark Washington has a strong background in civil engineering and traffic management. Mark started their career in 1994 as a Graduate Engineer at Pennoni Associates. Mark then briefly worked as a Civil Engineer at Armand Corporation before joining the City of Philadelphia in 1997. At the City of Philadelphia, Mark held various roles, including Traffic District Engineer, Project Design Engineer, and Bridge & Highway Construction Engineer. Mark was responsible for managing traffic signals, signs, and other control devices, reviewing and approving permit applications for roadway construction, and supervising construction projects for bridges, retaining walls, and roadways. In their most recent role, they served as the Chief Design Engineer. Mark's work experience spans over 25 years, showcasing their expertise in transportation engineering.

Mark Washington attended Carver High School from 1985 to 1989. Mark graduated from Penn State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
