Maxwell Akuamoah-Boateng

Maxwell Akuamoah-Boateng currently serves as the Director Of Operations for Community Schools at the Mayor’s Office of Education in Philadelphia, a position held since January 2019. Prior to this role, Maxwell was the Director Of Academics at Houston ISD, where responsibilities included supporting the Chief Academics Officer and managing educational initiatives impacting school governance. Previous experience includes serving as Manager of Wraparound Services, Assistant Principal, and various teaching roles, culminating in a strong background in educational support and community relations. Maxwell's early career featured roles at OneGoal, Hamilton College, and internships focusing on minority health. Maxwell holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hamilton College.
