Shawn Berk

Shawn Berk has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries. Shawn began their career at Rite Aid, where they worked as an Assistant Store Manager, overseeing sales, inventory, and customer service. Shawn then pursued a career in technology, starting as an ITWorks Student at NPower Pennsylvania, where they learned computer technology fundamentals and PC operating systems. Subsequently, they gained experience as an Information Technology Intern at InLiquid and as a Sanitation Intern at Philly Future Track. Shawn also worked at Amazon as an Inbound Problem Solver and Reconciler, responsible for reconciling inventory and assisting associates. Currently, they are employed at the City of Philadelphia, where they have held roles such as Senior Tier 3 Technical Support Specialist, Information Security Administrator, and currently, Director of Cyber Security.

Shawn Berk obtained a Cisco IT Essentials Certification from ITWorks in 2012, with a field of study in CompTIA A+. Shawn also holds additional certifications in CompTIA A+ and Network+ from CompTIA.
