Ciara Maerowitz

Ciara Maerowitz is an accomplished legal and privacy professional with extensive experience in data privacy and compliance roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Privacy Officer at the City of Phoenix since December 2020, Ciara has also held the position of Data Privacy Manager within the same organization. Previous experience includes serving as a Data Privacy Attorney and Compliance Analyst at MUFG from August 2018 to December 2020, as well as a Compliance Analyst at American Express from May 2016 to August 2018. Ciara's early career involved working as an Attorney At Law while self-employed and as a Law Clerk at Oester, Riccobono and Associates. Ciara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Bryn Mawr College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law.
