Nazario Prieto has a robust background in civil engineering with significant experience in water services management. Serving as the Assistant Water Services Director for the City of Phoenix from September 2015 to July 2019, Nazario played a key role in overseeing wastewater utility operations. Prior to this, Nazario held various engineering positions at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California from March 2003 to October 2005, where responsibilities included developing short-term water demand forecasts for the region. Nazario earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso and holds a high school diploma from Academia Juarez in Chihuahua, Mexico.
