Alanna Dowd has been working as an Aquatic Program Assistant, Swimming Instructor, and Lifeguard at the City of Pickering since August 2008. Alanna also holds the title of Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor at The Corporation of the Town of Ajax since October 2019. In addition, Alanna has volunteered at Autism Ontario Durham Region as a Facilitator and completed field placements at Sunrise Youth Group and The Refuge Youth Outreach Centre. Alanna has previous experience as Aquatic Staff at Camp Green Acres. Alanna pursued their education at Durham College from 2012 to 2014 and at York University from 2009 to 2011.
