Fiaz Jadoon Ec.D., CEcD, is a seasoned professional in economic development and project management with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Economic Development & Strategic Projects for the City of Pickering since September 2010 and previously as a Senior Advisor for Investment Attraction, Fiaz has a strong background in overseeing community services and marketing as evidenced by a tenure as Senior Manager for the Town of Whitby. Fiaz also held a key role at General Motors as a Business Manager for Project Management in the Truck Assembly Plant, leading a team of project managers to optimize production plans. Fiaz's educational credentials include a Professional Economic Development Certification from the University of Waterloo, a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Ontario, specializing in Marketing and Project Management.
