Jorge Garcia is an experienced city management professional currently serving as the City Manager of the City of Pismo Beach since December 2018, with prior roles including Interim City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and Management Services Director. Garcia's previous experience includes working as Assistant to the City Manager and Senior Management Assistant for the City of Santa Ana from February 2014 to November 2018. Additionally, Garcia held various leadership positions within the Municipal Management Association of Southern California (MMASC) from December 2010 to November 2015, including President and Vice President. Earlier in the career, Garcia worked as a Management Analyst for the City of Fountain Valley and the City of Villa Park. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Chapman University.
