Camila Alarcon-Chelecki

Camila Alarcon-Chelecki, MSPPM, serves as the Assistant Director of the Office of Community Health and Safety for the City of Pittsburgh since October 2021, previously holding roles as Senior Project Manager and LEAD Project Coordinator. Prior experience includes positions at Guatemala Visible, where successes included winning international grants totaling $340,000 and implementing projects to enhance public administration transparency. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Red Nacional por la Integridad, Camila established a national youth network and secured a USAID grant, marking a significant achievement for a Guatemalan non-profit. Camila’s career also encompasses roles in academia as a teaching assistant and valuable contributions as a political consultant and columnist throughout various organizations. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Grinnell College.
