Andrew A. Gonzales

Andrew A. Gonzales is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in project management and discretionary case processing within various municipal environments. Currently serving as Planning Manager for the City of Placentia since January 2017, Andrew has previously held roles such as Senior Planner, Associate Planner, and Contract Planner across multiple cities including Pomona, Diamond Bar, Whittier, Yorba Linda, and Jurupa Valley. A background comprising positions at the City of Huntington Beach and the City of Arcadia has equipped Andrew with expertise in preparing staff reports, coordinating inter-departmental efforts, and assisting the public and development community with zoning and development regulations. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at California State University, Long Beach.
