Aaron Stough

Aaron Stough, REHS/RS, CP-FS, CPO, currently serves as a Senior Environmental Health Specialist for the City of Plano since November 2024, following a role as an Environmental Health Specialist for the City of Richardson Texas from November 2021 to October 2024. Stough's extensive experience in environmental health includes positions as a Sanitarian for the Village of Palatine and as an Environmental Health Practitioner at the Lake County Health Department. Responsibilities have encompassed conducting inspections of food service facilities, public swimming pools, and mobile vending operations, as well as carrying out plan reviews and investigating complaints related to foodborne illnesses and nuisance abatement. Stough began the professional journey as an Environmental Health Intern in the Village of Palatine and has additionally played a role in educating the public about health-related issues throughout the career in environmental health. Educational background includes a B.S. in Environmental Health with a minor in Safety from Illinois State University.
