Bethany Ross

Bethany Ross is a Public Services Librarian at Haggard Library, City of Plano, since January 2017, bringing extensive library experience and a strong background in digital curation. Prior roles include Digital Curator for Special Collections at Texas Woman's University, where data curation and management of digital resources were key responsibilities. Early positions as a Substitute Librarian in the City of Carrollton and Youth Services Librarian in the City of Plano enhanced skills in customer service and reader's advisory. Ross also held various positions in educational and library settings, including Graduate Library Assistant at the University of North Texas and Library Assistant at Plano ISD. Early career experience includes roles in graphic design and teaching English as a Second Language through the U.S. Peace Corps in Armenia. Ross holds a Master of Library Science from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.
