Shanette Eaden

Shanette Eaden is an accomplished professional in housing and community services with extensive experience in code enforcement and community development funding. Since April 2007, Shanette has been with the City of Plano, initially serving as Property Standards Manager and currently holding the position of Housing and Community Services Manager, overseeing a team of 20 employees. In this role, Shanette manages approximately $3 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds. Prior to this, Shanette worked as an Intergovernmental Services Coordinator for the City of Dallas from May 2005 to April 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Service and Administration from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Ethnic Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
