Erik Fadden

Director Of Public Safety/ Chief Of Police at City of Plymouth

Erik Fadden has over two decades of law enforcement experience, currently serving as the Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police for the City of Plymouth since May 2004, having previously held positions as Deputy Chief and Police Sergeant. In these roles, Erik Fadden has supervised the Special Investigations Unit, focusing on quality of life issues, vice-related crimes, and managing predatory offenders in the community. Starting as a Police Officer and appointed as one of two K9 handlers in 2006, Erik's duties included emergency response and traffic enforcement. Prior experience includes serving as a Police Officer for the City of Minnetrista from October 2001 to May 2004. Erik Fadden holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has completed advanced training at the Police Executive Research Forum and Northwestern University.
