Robi Smith

Robi Smith is an experienced arts and communications professional with a strong background in coordinating community-based art initiatives and cultural programs. Currently serving as the Arts & Culture Coordinator for the City of Port Coquitlam since May 2019, Robi oversees an extensive portfolio that includes public art and community cultural development. Previous roles include Artist in Residence at the City of Maple Ridge, where community-oriented art projects were developed, and Principal at Blue Lantern Communications, providing communications strategies for non-profit organizations. Additional experience includes positions with the BC Non-Profit Housing Association and the BC Ministry of Education, focusing on communications and event coordination. Robi holds a Master of Education in Arts for Social Change from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Journalism and art history from Carleton University.
