Michael Porter

Michael Porter is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various areas of law, including Civil Rights, Labor & Employment, and Local Government Law. Currently serving as Senior Deputy City Attorney for the City of Portland since June 2021, Michael previously worked as an Assistant County Attorney at the Canyon County Prosecutor's Office from September 2009 to June 2021. Michael's legal career also includes roles at the Caldwell City Attorney's Office, Labrador Law Office, Werth Law Office, and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation. Michael holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Boise State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University.
