Rob Durkin is an experienced information systems professional with a focus on network design and project management. Currently serving as a Principal Information Systems Analyst for the City of Portland since January 2015, Rob manages the city’s outside plant fiber network. Previous roles include Information Systems Technical Analyst VI and V, involved in fiber optic network design and construction. At the Oregon Humane Society, Rob was a Senior Network Administrator who modernized IT systems and improved network connectivity. As IT Infrastructure Manager for the Portland Development Commission, Rob led the infrastructure support team, overseeing a variety of technical systems. Earlier experience includes roles in quality control at Precision Castparts and Malarkey Roofing. Rob holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Portland Community College.
