Simone Rede

Simone Rede currently serves as City Auditor for the City of Portland since January 2023. Previously, Simone held the position of Principal Management Auditor at Metro from February 2015 to October 2022, responsible for supervising audits and developing recommendations for improved efficiency. Simone's auditing expertise is further demonstrated through roles as Senior Management Auditor and Performance Auditor for the State of Oregon, as well as experiencing essential roles in community development and education advocacy in various organizations. Education includes a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Vassar College.
