Tamela Ressler

Tamela Ressler, SHRM-CP, is an experienced human resources professional with a focus on recruitment and employee relations. Currently serving as a Senior Recruiter (HR Analyst II) for the City of Portland since July 2021, Tamela has previously held roles as a Human Resources Partner and Employment Coordinator at Portland State University and as an HR Specialist at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Previous experience includes positions at Bishop & Company, Inc., where recruitment strategies were developed, and earlier roles at the City of Portland, including a Human Resources Analyst II where recruitment processes were planned and implemented. Tamela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Portland State University.
