Teresa Norris is a dedicated wildlife educator and naturalist with over a decade of volunteer experience focused on wildlife care and environmental education. Since July 2010, Teresa has volunteered at Project Wildlife as an education and wildlife care center volunteer, providing care for various wildlife and educating the public through outreach programs. Concurrently, Teresa has served as a museum docent at the San Diego Museum of Natural History, leading school groups and teaching outreach programs, and as a naturalist/docent with the City of Poway, guiding nature walks and contributing to curriculum development. Additionally, Teresa has experience as a Blue Sky Docent and has previously volunteered as a bird guide with the San Diego Audubon and as an event captain for the San Diego Regional Science Olympiad. Teresa holds a B.A. in Biology, Natural History, and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has furthered educational pursuits at Harvard University School of Education.
