Vianey Rivera

Vianey Rivera is an accomplished Senior Code Compliance Officer with extensive experience in various jurisdictions throughout California, including notable cities such as San Juan Capistrano and Burbank. Currently serving with the City of Poway since April 2023, Vianey also works as an Ordained Minister and maintains a role as a Senior Code Enforcement Officer with Willdan. Previously, Vianey held positions such as Code Enforcement Officer II for the City of Corona and a Mental Health Assistant for the National Council for Behavioral Health, where skills in Mental First Aid were honed. Vianey co-produced a documentary that received accolades at the Cannes Film Festival and was involved with the Community Emergency Response Team in various organizational capacities. Vianey's educational pursuits include a Bachelor's degree from Point Loma Nazarene University and certifications in Equestrian Studies.
