Craig Hochman is a highly experienced civil engineer currently serving as City Engineer for the City of Providence since January 2006, where responsibilities include managing the Stormwater Rhode Island Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (RIPDES) program and reviewing land development projects. Previously, as Deputy Chief Engineer, leadership encompassed all facets of engineering and public works, alongside establishing technical standards and policies. Early career experience includes a role as a Civil Engineer, focusing on roadway and utility project management, and an engineering internship at the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, involving the evaluation of transportation improvement documentation. Craig Hochman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 2005.
