Mike Urban

Mike Urban, MBA, currently serves as the City Administrator for the City of Pullman, a position held since January 2019, where strategic leadership and program execution are key responsibilities. Prior to this, Mike was the Director of Finance and Administrative Services for the same city, significantly improving transparency and accuracy in municipal finance, leading to an interim appointment as City Administrator. Earlier experience includes serving as the Assistant Treasurer/Investment Officer for Skagit County, managing a substantial investment portfolio, and reconciling cash balances, as well as a role as a Staff Accountant at Oostra Rouw and Associates, handling payroll and tax preparation for numerous clients. Mike also owned and managed Consumer Rental Center, Inc. for two decades, overseeing comprehensive accounting and budgeting processes. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Washington State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the same institution.
