Trymaine Gaither currently serves as a City Council Member for the City of Pullman and holds the position of Special Assistant to the Provost for Inclusive Excellence at Washington State University. With extensive experience in promoting equity and inclusion, Trymaine has guided initiatives to foster an equitable campus climate while advising faculty and staff on related matters. Previous roles include Interim Director of Community & Public Affairs and Mindfulness Based Emotional & Social Intelligence Coordinator at Washington State University's Honors College, and Founder/Executive Director of Making Men Mentoring, LLC, where Trymaine focused on supporting low-income and first-generation college students. Additionally, Trymaine served on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations Committee to promote diversity and community harmony, and worked as a Community Relations Liaison at Brightwood College, contributing to career services and community outreach. Educational qualifications include certification as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Instructor from Brown University and a degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
