Walter Williams, EDFP, currently serves as the Director of Development for the City of Racine, responsible for advising the Mayor and Common Council on city development matters. Prior experience includes serving as the Community Development Coordinator for Madison County Government and the Economic/Community Development Director for the City of Edwardsville, where strategic initiatives focused on business development and community preparedness were developed. Williams also held the role of Economic Development Manager in Commerce City and Director of Economic Development in Farmington, Missouri, emphasizing economic enhancement strategies. With a long tenure at the Greater Cleveland Partnership, Williams secured significant financing for local businesses, contributing to job creation. Additional roles include positions with the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority, SBDC Gannon University, and National City Bank. Walter Williams holds an MBA in Business Administration from John Carroll University and a BA in Economics & Black Studies from Denison University.
