Brandon Luke has a wide range of experience in law enforcement. Brandon started their career in 1999 as a Deputy Sheriff in the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. Brandon worked in various roles within the department, including as a Gang Investigator and a Sheriff Gang Sergeant. In 2013, they joined the Pre-Employment/Recruiting Unit before becoming a Bureau Commander in the Elk Grove Unified School District in 2016. In 2017, they became an Executive Lieutenant in the Sheriff's Impact Division and later served as the Assistant to the Sheriff. In 2020, they were promoted to Captain in the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. In 2021, they joined the City of Rancho Cordova as the Chief of the Police Department.
Brandon Luke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from California State University, Fresno.
