Roger Hall

Roger Hall, PE, currently serves as the City Engineer and Engineering Project Manager for the City of Rapid City since June 2019. From July 2018 to June 2019, Roger Hall was on sabbatical. Prior to this role, Roger Hall was an Adjunct Professor at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from January 2018 to May 2019. Roger Hall accumulated extensive experience at Hills Materials Company from February 2008 to June 2018 as a Senior Project Manager, Engineer, and Trucking Division Manager, and worked as an Engineer and Project Manager at Heavy Constructors, Inc. from May 1998 to February 2008. Earlier in Roger Hall's career, experience included a position as Design Engineer at Ferber Engineering from 1996 to 1998 and serving as an Engineer Officer in the US Army from December 1983 to July 1993, which involved living in Germany for three years and visiting 13 countries and 39 states. Roger Hall holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering obtained from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology between 1993 and 1996, along with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution, awarded in 1983.
