Paige M. Brookins

Paige M. Brookins, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Paige M. most recently served as the Director of Health Equity at the City of Reading, PA starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Reading Area Community College since January 2021.

Before their current roles, Dr. Brookins held multiple positions at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. From October 2018 to October 2021, they served as the Assistant Dean College of Business. Prior to that, they were the Director of the Act 101 Program and Coordinator for Student Success from August 2016 to October 2018 and January 2014 to October 2018, respectively. In addition, they worked as an Area Residence Coordinator from September 2004 to December 2013.

Dr. Brookins also gained experience as an Assistant Resident Director at West Chester University Office of Residence Life and Housing Services from August 2002 to August 2004. Paige M. started their career as an Intern at the County of Berks- Controllers Office from January 2002 to August 2002 and as a Student Director at West Chester University-Sykes Student Union Building from August 2001 to May 2002.

In 2008, they served as the Program Director for the Youth Ending Substance Abuse Program at Community Alliance Reinvestment Endeavour, Inc, where they worked to promote a drug-free program for youth within the Berks County area.

Paige M. Brookins, Ph.D. began their education journey by obtaining a high school diploma from Berks Christian School in 1998. Paige M. then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance from West Chester University, completing it in 2002. In 2004, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Paige further continued their education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Community Leadership from Alvernia University in 2016. In 2022, they also acquired a Certificate in Life Coaching from the Certified Life Coach Institute.
