Colleen Sharpe is an experienced community development manager and independent curatorial consultant with a robust background in exhibition curation and project management. Currently serving as the Community Development Manager for Culture at the City of Red Deer since October 2023, Colleen has previously held significant roles such as Curator of Exhibits at the Museum of Surrey and Curator of Exhibitions for the City of Surrey, where responsibilities included creative direction and oversight of exhibition content. Colleen's consulting work includes the development of noteworthy exhibitions like "Masters of Steampunk" for the Alberta College of Art and Design and the conceptualization of "Passage," an evolving art space in Calgary. With extensive experience in various cultural institutions, Colleen has actively engaged in the arts community, contributed to public programs, and managed significant art collections.
