Dana V. currently serves as the Director of Library Services for the City of Redondo Beach since September 2022 and has been the Deputy Director of Library Services for Ventura County Library since November 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing operations, policy development, budget management, and staff supervision across multiple library locations. Prior experience spans from January 1993 to November 2018 at Torrance Public Library, holding various roles from Principal Librarian of Operations to Library Assistant II, managing budgets, programs, and multiple service departments with significant staff oversight. Dana V. began a career in library services at Palos Verdes Library District and holds a Master of Library and Information Science from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
