Angela Mattocks-Dupree Mba

Angela Mattocks-DuPree, MBA, is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner with the City of Reno since January 2023. Previously, Angela held the position of Human Resources Consultant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from May 2013 to January 2023, where responsibilities included advising leadership on recruitment, selection, and layoff processes, along with conducting various types of employee interviews. Earlier in their career, Angela worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Quest Preparatory Academy-Charter School and as an Executive Assistant to the Principal, providing crucial administrative support. Angela’s career began in the United States Air Force, where as a Paralegal and Communications Specialist, responsibilities included overseeing the general law department and managing personnel performance. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
