Emily Morton is an experienced sustainability specialist currently employed by the City of Renton since April 2023. Previously, Emily served as a consultant at TRC Companies, Inc. from January 2021 to April 2023, following a consultancy role at EMI Consulting which lasted from February 2019 until its acquisition by TRC. Emily commenced a career in public service as an Advocacy Tracking Coordinator at Community Health Plan of Washington in early 2019 and has a background as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington's Evans School of Public Policy and Governance from April 2017 to July 2018.
