Mark Velez has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as a Fleet Management Technician for the City of Renton since May 2019. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Program Coordinator in the Automotive Department at Shoreline Community College from October 2005 to May 2019, managing the automotive shop and overseeing budgets and supplies. Previous positions include Automotive Technician roles at BBC Dodge and Meineke Car Care Centers, along with an apprenticeship at Huling Brothers Chrysler Jeep. Mark's early career includes positions in purchasing and banking, complemented by a robust educational background with degrees in Automotive Manufacturing Technology from Shoreline Community College and History from Humboldt State University.
