City of Rexburg
The City of Rexburg is America’s Family Community and home to BYU-Idaho, two hours southwest of Yellowstone National Park. Family comes in many forms so we don’t seek to define the family. Rexburg invests in initiatives that provide a community atmosphere for all families through promoting entrepreneurship, providing great community recreation, reliable utilities, and employing a competent group of 200 employees. Our community atmosphere is great for community members and businesses as we are the 11th safest community in America. The city offices handle tax, zoning, legal, economic development, utilities, community programming, and other financial and administrative services for the community. The Rexburg government is operated through a Mayor/Council system. The city was incorporated in 1883.
